Accessibility: fully compliant
Note to be removed from client websites – This statement is a template declaration for websites based on Cityway’s V8 product platform. It should be customized for each client site on the platform.
This page outlines our commitments to digital accessibility and defines the compliance level of this website with current regulations and standards.
What is digital accessibility?
Digital accessibility refers to a set of rules and best practices that cover functional, graphic, technical, and editorial aspects.
Following these rules and practices ensures that digital media (websites, mobile apps, PDF documents, etc.) are accessible to people with disabilities.
An accessible website allows users to:
- Customize display settings via the operating system and/or browser (e.g., enlarge or reduce text size, change fonts, modify colors, disable animations, etc.).
- Navigate using assistive technologies such as screen readers or braille displays.
- Navigate without a mouse, using only a keyboard, switches, or a touchscreen.
- Access videos and audio content with subtitles and/or transcripts.
- And more.
Accessibility Commitments
Cityway is committed to making its websites (internet, intranet, and extranet), mobile applications, software solutions, and digital urban furniture accessible in accordance with Article 47 of Law No. 2005-102 of February 11, 2005.
RGAA Compliance Statement
This declaration applies to the “TSIV8” base site, of which this website is an instance. It does not take into account any customizations made as part of the LabelSite, particularly regarding editorial content or graphic personalization.
Compliance Status
This website is fully compliant with the RGAA (General Accessibility Improvement Guidelines) – version 4.1.2.
Test Results
An initial compliance audit to RGAA version 4.1.2 conducted in November 2024 by Ideance revealed an overall compliance rate of 71.9% for the sample.
A first follow-up audit by Ideance in December 2024 showed an improved compliance rate of 90.6%.
A second follow-up audit conducted in February 2025, again by Ideance, confirmed a 100% compliance rate for the sample at that time.
Content Exempt from Accessibility Requirements
The spam protection system “hCaptcha” has been exempted and was not subject to a full and detailed audit.
However, it was verified that its presence does not hinder the use or accessibility of the rest of the site.
Additional Remarks
Validity of Generated Source Code
The generated source code of the site’s pages is not fully valid according to the specified document type.
However, for the reasons outlined below, RGAA criterion 8.2 related to this point has been marked as compliant.
Officially, WCAG criterion 4.1.1 related to RGAA criterion 8.2 has been removed from WCAG 2.2 and should be considered as still satisfied under WCAG 2.1 and the European standard EN 301 549.
In practice, this criterion no longer provides any benefit for accessibility for people with disabilities. Any accessibility issues arising from invalid source code are covered by other RGAA criteria.
Keyboard-Inaccessible Content
On the homepage, in the location search fields with autocomplete (e.g., “Where are you departing from?”, “Where are you going?”, etc.), a message containing a link that is not accessible via keyboard appears when no results are found.
It was determined that including this link in the keyboard navigation path would significantly complicate the use of the component.
This message is correctly conveyed to screen readers (speech synthesis and/or braille display). The link to the contact page is explicit, and several alternatives are available on the page.
Declaration Establishment
This declaration was established on 18/02/2025.
