Why do I have to validate each time I board?

Validation is mandatory and is only for statistical purposes. In the case of an accident on the network, for example, validation is proof of insurance between the network and yourself, so it's a question of safety.

You must validate your ticket each time you board, including at connections (unless you have an SMS ticket). Validation:

  • is proof that you're not travelling fraudulently,
  • allows us to better measure passenger traffic on lines and adapt our service to our customers' needs.

What is the validity period of my season ticket, when do I have to reload it?

  • Monthly season tickets ("for all", "under age 20 and students" and "1/2 price") are always valid from the 1st to the end of the month. They can be reloaded from the 20th of the preceding month.
  • Group monthly season tickets run from the 10th to the 9th of the next month. They can be reloaded from the 1st of the month.

I'm having trouble reloading my under-20 season ticket on my LiA Pass, I've just turned 20. Is this normal?

  • From the age of 20, the price switches to the normal rate unless you're a student or enrolled in education (possible until the day before your 28th birthday). If you're in the latter category, go to one of our LiA agencies with your LiA Pass and a student card or certificate of enrolment. 

The validity date of my BSC has expired, my BSC is lost or damaged.?

  • If your BSC is expired, lost or damaged, no reimbursement can be made..
